Twisto is a Czech fintech company that offers Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services, allowing customers to defer payments for up to 45 days without interest or split purchases into instalments. Since its founding in 2013, Twisto has expanded across Central and Eastern Europe, serving over 2.5 million customers and partnering with more than 60,000 online merchants.
In 2021, Twisto was acquired by Australian ASX-listed ZIP – a leading BNPL provider, to strengthen European expansion of ZIP. Later, in 2023, Twisto was acquired by Turkish fintech Param, which aims to leverage Twisto’s European licences to expand its embedded finance offerings across Europe, focusing on markets like the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, and Poland.
